Environmental friendly and cost effective transports
 As a part of PNLs active and comprehensive environmental work, we have started to use the largest model of trailers that are allowed in Europe. The new trailers have 33% larger cargo space which results in fewer transports. This is not only cost effective but it also reduces the fuel consumption and the CO² discharge.

New requirement for trailers to Norway
Since the 1st of June 2008, Norway has decided to allow larger trailers on their roads. The new requirement allows trailers with the maximum length of 25,25 meter instead of only 18 meter. The larger cargo space reduces the amount of trucks between Sweden and Norway with 30 percent. The new trucks have also got more environmentally friendly engines which fulfils EU´s requirements for CO² discharge. These two factors are important for PNL´s environmental work.
