CarryOn is Scandinavian and means international parcels

From today our CarryOn services are available for all Scandinavian companies. Pan Nordic Logistics is a logistics company owned by the Post Denmark and Norway Post, and our goal is to offer the same choice of services for international parcels all over Scandinavia. The services were first launched in Sweden and Finland. With todays launch in Denmark and Norway we have reached our goal. The parcel distribution administration will now become much simpler for the large number of companies operating in Scandinavia.

All Pan Nordic Logistics parcel services are a part of a service package called CarryOn. The various services are standardized according to the most frequent situations the companies face when sending a parcel or several parcels. The services are distinct, which previously has not always been the case in the international parcels market.

The services are also uncomplicated. Earlier, the customers were forced to choose between different solutions for different countries. With the CarryOn Business service, the international parcels will become even more international. The number of receiving countries is increased from 20 to 55 countries, which covers 90 per cent of the Scandinavian export market. Another advantage is the service CarryOn BulkSplit that will save the companies time and money, since the customs clearance formalities for BulkSplit will be much quicker than with individual parcels.

Scandinavian customers have two requirements
There are two distinct customer categories in the Scandinavian international market. It is either a company sending separate international parcels to another company. Or it is a company sending several similar parcels to several different companies or private persons in Europe, or within the same country.

When the customer needs are so uncomplicated, the services must be adapted accordingly, comments Benny Rhe Hansen, Managing Director, Pan Nordic Logistics.

This is why we developed the services CarryOn Business, CarryOn BulkSplit and CarryOn HomeShopping. They are called the same thing, and include the same services and conditions in all the Scandinavian countries.

CarryOn HomeShopping was developed for mail-order businesses and e-commerce companies sending a large amount of parcels to private persons around Europe. CarryOn BulkSplit is intended for medium sized and larger export businesses or mail-order businesses and e-commerce companies sending more than 20 parcels at the same time, to be distributed to different receivers in the same country. The service covers 13 European countries. This means that all parcels are transported together as one consignment to the recipient country. The parcels are then divided and delivered to the recipients. This solution will save our customers time, money and customs clearance.
