Do not send Christmas Snaps as a gift to Finland
Many companies send Christmas gifts to their colleagues and retailers in other countries. It is important to know the import rules for each country, so that the parcels will reach the recipients. If you want to send salmon to Austria, it must not weight more than 1 kilo. If you want to send roses to Australia, you have to send plastic ones, or else they will not come to hand. These rules also apply to individuals.
Pan Nordic Logistics, owned by Norway Post and Post Denmark, helps Swedish companies to send parcels and pallets to companies and individuals all around the world. In Sweden, we have 320 distributions points spread out all over the country. Many of them are centrally situated in local train stations. The last day to send Christmas parcels with us is, in most cases, the 13th of December. (Please see www.pannordic.com for the last day to send Christmas parcels in each country.)
Different rules of import in different countries
You are not allowed to send Christmas trees to New Zealand. You can not sent living bees to Denmark or Chrismas cigars to Portugal. Did you also know that you are not allowed to send Christmas stamps to Canada, or lottery tickets to Italy. And do not even consider sending Christmas ham to Russia. It will not even cross the border.
These rules do not only apply to companies sending Christmas gifts Also individuals who wants to send Christmas gifts to relatives need to know the current rules or else Santa will not be able to deliver the parcels on time.
