More satellite receivers to the world with Pan Nordic Logistics
Force Electronics, a competitor of Nokia and Samsung, has chosen Pan Nordic Logistics, owned by the Norwegian and Danish postal companies, as their logistics partner. Earlier, Force had problems with satellite dishes and receivers not reaching the retailers on time. With Pan Nordic Logistics everything works out as it should; pick-ups, customs clearance, deliveries and customer service. For Pan Nordic Logistics, the deal means 26 000 parcels and pallets a year to retailers in the Nordic countries and in Europe.
Last year, Force Electronics placed their central storage in Denmark in order to make their deliveries more efficient. The logistics partner that they had choosen had problems delivering on time.
– It did not work at all. Many times it took far too long to send a parcel from Denmark to Norway. Our salesmen were busy searching parcels instead of selling our products, says Anders Ringstad Mora, Logistics Manager at Force Electronics.
Force Electronics then decided to work with Pan Nordic Logistics.
– Now everything works out the way it should. We send CarryOn BulkSplit at 16.00 p.m from Denmark to Norway and the shipment is in Oslo and its surroundings around noon the next day. Deliveries to the rest of the world works just as well, says Anders, who is very pleased that the salesmen now can focus on their regular tasks.
Satellite receivers to the whole world
Force Electronics manufactures and sells satellite receivers to retailers in the whole world. All deliveries go through Pan Nordic Logistics, often with their service CarryOn Business BulkSplit.
– Pan Nordic Logistics’ BulkSplit service makes it so much easier for us to sent parcels. Instead of writing labels for each parcel, we now write only one label for the whole shipment. It is very convenient, Anders concludes.
