No Christmas trees in your parcels to New Zealand
Do you want to send a Christmas tree to a friend on New Zealand? Does a relative of yours in Greece long for cigars, or are you going to send a deck of cards to anyone in Denmark? When you send parcels abroad, make sure that the contents are not forbidden to import in the receiving country. Also make sure to send the parcels by 9 December, so that Santa can deliver them in time.
Pan Nordic Logistics (PNL), owned by Norway Post and Post Denmark, helps Swedish companies to send parcels and pallets to companies and consumers all around the world. Around Christmas we send even more parcels than usual. The last day to send Christmas parcels with us is, in most cases, 9. December. Please see www.pannordic.com for the last day to send Christmas parcels in each country.
Different rules of import in different countries
Sending Christmas trees to New Zealand is not a good idea. They will not pass the border, since importing them is forbidden. It is also no use sending decks of cards to Denmark, cigars to Greece or hats made of seal skin to the USA. All countries have their own rules and regulations for import. These do not only apply to companies who send Christmas gifts to their customers. Consumers who send parcels to friends and relatives must also check up these regulations at least if they want Santa to be able to deliver the presents in time.
To find out the import regulstions in other countries, within or outside EU, you can contact Swedish Trade or go to their web site www.swedishtrade.se.
