PNL sells Solutions to Box Delivery

Pan Nordic Logistics AB (PNL) is selling the Solutions division and its products to Box Delivery AB. All employees at PNL Solutions will be transferring to Box Delivery. The deal will come into effect on 1 November 2006.

Solutions is a business unit that specialises in specific products. Solutions’ products appeal primarily to companies that supply to private individuals, and the majority of deals involve service agreements and exchange services, where customers exchange or return goods to the manufacturer via Solutions. Activities also include home PC dispatches with evening and weekend delivery.

PNL acquired Expressgods Dag och Natt back in 2002. This new acquisition helped create the Solutions division offering unique market-leading products. Box Delivery already has several similar operations and sees excellent potential for further developing Solutions to the benefit of its customers.

“Our aim is to focus on developing Solutions. The division is an excellent complement to our existing products. We have worked closely with PNL Solutions for several years, so it felt natural to take the next step,” says Tobias Åbonde, Vice President of Box Delivery in Sweden.

“The time has come for PNL to concentrate on its core activity, parcels and pallets, and to let Solutions grow under the guidance of Box Delivery,” says Benny Rhe Hansen, President and CEO of PNL.

Box Delivery is Scandinavia’s leading delivery and express logistics company and a subsidiary of Box Group AS, which is wholly owned by Norway Post. Box Delivery focuses on express logistics services on the local, national and internordic markets and currently operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
