PNL suited Diesel´s clothes best
Diesel needed a reliable distributor from Denmark to Sweden and Norway. After recommendations, Diesel decided to choose PNL, owned by Post Denmark and Post Norway, as their distributor. Now, PNL takes care of fast return services as well as transports that need to be delivered the next day.

The Italian clothing company Diesel has a Nordic central warehouse in Copenhagen, where the goods of customers in Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands are stored. In Copenhagen is also an independent function handling storage and logistics for the Norwegian sales staff. However, the warehouse in Denmark is only a complement. About 80 percent of the production is distributed directly from the factory to the stores at beginning of each season.

Since fall 2003, Diesel have engaged PNL for all distribution from Denmark to Sweden and Norway.

"We engaged another parcel distributor before, but we were not completely satisfied with their deliveries. PNL was introduced to us by their owner Post Denmark and we are very satisfied with their work. PNL´s Customer Service and delivery precision have been working out perfectly," says Lars Brandi, Logistics Manager at Diesel A/S.

Every day, 20-100 parcels are transported to Jönköping where they are split up and delivered to 4-5000 shops all over Sweden. In one year, 15-20 000 parcels are delivered in just 1-2 days.

"PNL have been more flexible in their wish to meet our demands. They can also handle the irregular return deliveries without problems. These are picked up in the stores and are delivered to Denmark once a week. PNL also have a very good tracking system. I am currently trying to convince our mother company to engage PNL for their deliveries from Italy," says Lars Brandi.
