The deal is now closed and Pan Nordic Logistics are the proud new owners of Expressgods

Pan Nordic Logistics, jointly owned by Post Denmark and Norway Post, are now the new owners of Expressgods, since the deal has been approved by the Swedish Competition Authority. This deal gives Pan Nordic Logistics their own efficient Swedish distribution net for their Scandinavian business parcel services.

Expressgods is from today a subsidiary of the Pan Nordic Logistics Group. Expressgods will keep their name and the operation will continue as before with express services for Swedish companies and private persons. A new board of directors will take up their duties after the extraordinary shareholder’s meeting in early June.

- I am very happy to see that we now have a complete Scandinavian distribution net for business parcel services, and a subsidiary that can offer express services. But we have a higher goal. Within the next two years we want to be the leading Scandinavian supplier of courier, express and parcel services. To reach our goal we will form new business partnerships and acquire more companies, comments Benny Rhe Hansen, CEO, Pan Nordic Logistics.

Pan Nordic Logistics and Expressgods initiated a close collaboration in November 2001, and today Expressgods handle all parcel distribution for Pan Nordic Logistics in Sweden. The acquisition of Expressgods is very advantageous, among other things, it will give Pan Nordic Logistics a leading position on the Swedish express service market and exclusive access to trains for courier services.
